Here is the next installment of my makeup routine. I’ve said this before, and I am going to say it again: I’m not that into makeup. I like what I like and don’t really tend to change it up too much. Every once in a while, I’ll go to Sephora or even the drugstore to try things out, but I am fairly set in my ways.
I also like things simple and clean and make an effort to keep my regular as minimal as you can! Night before I go to bed Every, I wash my face. I get my eye makeup off with Clean and Clear makeup dissolving foaming cleanser. It’s gentle and works very fast. Then, I clean my face with Phisoderm anti-blemish gel cosmetic wash. I’ve attempted a great deal of different cleansers and I have to say that I really like this one. It is rather light and mild and not excessively drying. It also has a nice clean scent. EASILY shower, I use Philosophy’s microdelivery exfoliating clean. This is very gentle, the thing I don’t love is that it is oddly scented.

When I wake up in the morning, I simply wipe an awesome towel over my face before make-up application. If any blemishes are had by me, I dab just a little Epiduo on the spots. That is by prescription only, but it works like a charm. I don’t have acne, and rarely get zits, but when I do, this eliminates them instantly.
My face will get really sparkly easily, if anyone knows any way to fix this, please let me know! I have no idea what I’d do without my clean holder from Vera Bradly. I really like how it unrolls and I could see everything organized flat. I have a lot of brushes and most I don’t use. The VB holder came with brushes but I avoid any of them because they aren’t the right sizes for what I want. The VB brushes are nice quality though. I’ve a set from Clinique as well and I must say I dislike them– these are itchy! I like my Sephora and Sonia Kashuk brushes (Target).
I have never obtained my eyebrows waxed or experienced anything done to them. I just sometimes pluck them with Tweezerman tweezers (for me, they’re the best!). FDA attemptedto regulate the word hypoallergenic in the 1970s. At that time, the agency set up testing requirements to demonstrate that products can be tagged hypoallergenic. But makeup products manufacturers opposed the extra requirements, stating the expensive testing would create an undue economic burden with them. Almay and Clinique, two makers of hypoallergenic makeup products, challenged the rules, claiming that FDA didn’t have the legal authority to concern it.
A trial court ruled and only FDA, but a Federal government appeals courtroom later struck down the legislation. Since that 1977 appeals court decision Ever, the term hypoallergenic has had no real meaning available on the market, FDA says. Consumers experienced to rely on labels to see whether there are distinctions between products advertised as hypoallergenic and the ones that are not. Sorting through the set of ingredients on makeup products is a complicated task for most, Hamann says.
